Business Growth Up In Arizona
According to the invaluable Intuit, small business growth nationwide in March was 50,000 jobs or .2 percent. That’s not exactly booming, but it’s at least encouraging.
Arizona was among the leaders with .4 percent growth, which may have something to do with the fact that so many of the small businesses Intuit surveys are in that state:
The index is based on figures from the country’s smallest businesses that use Intuit Online Payroll, of which there are more than 1,000 in Arizona.
A Womens’ Business Chat
Despite the budget woes that are looming for the Small Business Administration, the federal agency is still chugging along and providing help to small business owners.
According to heraldnet.com, female small business owners seeking federal contracts will get a boost tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in an online chat run by the SBA’s Michele Chang. Check it out if you fit the category.
Choosing A Domain Name
If you’re a small business just getting started on the Internet, one of the most daunting early challenges can be figuring out what domain name you want to go with. You don’t want to go with something impossibly long, but it can be hard to convey your business without doing so.
