Tax Day Advice from BizEngine

If you somehow managed to hide out in your cave for the last five months, shunning television, newspapers, blogs, websites, interactions with fellow human beings and talks with finance-minded squirrels, you may have missed the fact that today is tax day. BizEngine understands.

If you have, it’s time to make your way to the post office or fire up your web browser of choice and file your taxes. Remember that doing so will allow you to (hopefully) get a nice little tax return that you can put toward your small business or your home, and in these times of tight budgets, that is nothing to sneeze at.

There’s also tax breaks you may want, like Section 179, and the convenience of not having an army of IRS agents swarming you like locusts in suits. The opportunity to get on with your life and perhaps get some money back is a good one.

If you’re somehow still finishing up your taxes today, here’s a list of all our tax-related advice over the last month or so. We hope you’ll find it useful, and if you’ve already filed for your small business, do yourself a favor and bookmark these for 2013.

So don’t forget to file! This has been a public service announcement from the civic-minded folks at BizEngine.
