How should you define success at your small business?

No matter how many times I ask this question of small businesses, I’ve never gotten a duplicate answer. For some, it’s customer happiness. For others, it’s profits and revenues. For still others, it’s making a splash out in the larger world. You can keep going.

This is part of what makes American small businesses so vital and so interesting to those of us here at BizEngine, and to the rest of the country. Small business success can mean so many things to so many people that it’s always possible to find a metric that’s both unique and important to you.

With that in mind, we’d like to ask the question: How do you define small business success for your company? Feel free to be as detailed or as to-the-point as you like. We just enjoy hearing stories from the small businesses who read BizEngine.

Weigh in down in the comments and we’ll get the conversation started.
